Our friends at Astralwerks have introduced us to this years hottest bands to check out including Phoenix, The Kooks, Badly Drawn Boy, Royksopp and Hot Chip and we're happy to be among the many to share that with you.
Badly Drawn Boy returns to the U.S. in March 2007 with the launch of his latest album, Born in the UK. Catch him on tour and be sure to check out the limited edition release with a bonus DVD featuring unreleased and live performances and a passport package!

Nominated for numerous PLUG Awards this year is Hot Chip with The Warning. After their debut in 2004, they toured with the awesome Mylo, Stereolab and recently Goldfrapp. This sophomore effort was recorded by the band at home and they've released remixes of “Over And Over” which will include mixes by Maurice Fulton and Mock & Toof. This release will be available on 12” and digital format. Hot Chip are: Alexis Taylor, Joe Goddard, Al Doyle, Owen Clarke and Felix Martin.
Phoenix has joined the resurgence of classic rock gone modern with their latest effort It’s Never Been Like That. Bands like Wolfmother, The Zutons and Phoenix have brought back that good ol' sound of rock n roll with tracks like "Consolation Prizes" and "Lost and Found." Hailing from Versailles, the band has three previous releases including Live! 30 Days Ago, Alphabetical and United.
